The 300 Watt Music Box itopi brought our first Mass to a musical peak with the aid of Sr Gene, Debbie Nishirnura, and Fr. Adams There was an excellent turnout of students for the opening-of-school Mass ibottomi Bruce Maffei, Bill Tone, and Janet Briscoe exercise their senior powers over a lowly freshman irighti. Freshmen are welcomed to S. M. with true CHRISTIAN spirit initiation proved again this year to be quite sufficient in orientating the freshmen to the St. Mary's atmosphere. For a week the seniors obliged the freshmen to perform subservient duties, and orientation week ended with a thought- provoking assembly.

the community Students received their first taste of school regimen after a long summer vacation on registration day. A feeling of renewed school spirit was present, and most of the students were glad to be back. Everyone was able to obtain help with their schedules and with other problems which may have arisen. At an Institute for all faculty of Catholic schools in the diocese, the teachers were welcomed by Bishop Guilfoyle ltopl. Monsignor Caine lcenterl presented the theme of religion as a vital aspect of school life, Monsignor De Groot labovel spoke to the elementary school teachers.
