As chairman of the hill committee for the junior dance l'aarnhoo, her work of cutting and drying bamboo stalks provided the most unusual bids for any school dance. Ifor the Green und White. she worked with enthusiasm and inter- est. Many of the character sketrhes lor the year book were written by Shirley. It would be a diflicult task to list the activities in which she has taken part: it can he said with certainty that her willingness to work has been a great asset to the class of 1051. ELIZABETH ANN SIMON Elizabeth came to Saint Mary's from XVest Virginia, but loves California as much as any native daughter, She has been a diligent worker at the Christmas baraars Iior the past year Illizabeth has maintained order at the Mission meetings in her capacity as sergeant-at-arms.
