GEORGE ADRIAN OLCOMENDY George may not have been the tallest man on the basketball team, but he was by far one of the most effective in penetrating the unemy's zone. He played three and one-half years on the B team and was brought up to the Varsity for the remaining crucial games ol the season. Gcorgc's scoring 26 points in his nrsr Varsity appearance against the champion Stockton Colts will long be remembered in the athletic annals of Saint Marys. As chairman of the hill committee for the junior dance l'aarnhoo, her work of cutting and drying bamboo stalks provided the most unusual bids for any school dance. Ifor the Green und White. she worked with enthusiasm and inter- est. Many of the character sketrhes lor the year book were written by Shirley. It would be a diflicult task to list the activities in which she has taken part: it can he said with certainty that her willingness to work has been a great asset to the class of 1051. ELIZABETH ANN SIMON Elizabeth came to Saint Mary's from XVest Virginia, but loves California as much as any native daughter, She has been a diligent worker at the Christmas baraars Iior the past year Illizabeth has maintained order at the Mission meetings in her capacity as sergeant-at-arms. RAMONA THERESA VALVERDE Ramona has shiny black hair, dark eyes, and a lair-skinned. oval Iace She has been a member of the Mission and Publicity Von-imittees. Ra mona loves discussions and has dt-Gnite ideas which she expresses vividly, Wlit-it not ex- changing opinions. FRANCIS RAYMOND WALLACE Frankk good nature can be seen in his easy' going acceptance of his numerous nicknames. Since his grammar school clavs. he has been a basketball enthusiast. XVhiIe in high school. Prank was class treasurer in his freshman year, and played Varsity basketball lor two years.
