I MARY LOU GIANELLI Mary l,ou's easily aroused humor can be seen in her quick and witty remarks, Her participa- tion in activities began when she played basket- ball as a freshman and was on the Carousel dance committee in her sophomore year. As a junior she was secretary both of her class and of the Mission Committee. Upon graduation Mary Lou will begin her training for the nurs- ing profession. LOIS JEANNE HECKETHORNE Lois is gentle and dainty in appearance, She came to Saint Mary's in her senior year from Stockton College, Dancing, especially ballet, is her favorite pastime. Ever since she came to Saint Mary's from Ursuline Academy in Paloa, Kansas, Barbara has taken an interest in school affairs. As a member of the l.iterature Ciommittee she spent her leisure time in thc library tiling, catalog- ing, and pasting pockets in new books. As an associate editor of the Green and White, she was indefatiguablc. Her time was always at the disposal of the staff. Barbara's future studies will be in the field of science. MERILYN JUNE HIRSCH Merilyn is a person of many interests, She en- joys all sports, but prefers tennis to ant' other. She is interested in journalism .intl held rt-spon, sible editorial positions at Stockton lligh School which she attended for three years Outstanding among her talents is her flair tor drawing ant- mals, chiefly horses, Merilyn's plans for the future are not debnttc. in ERNEST WILLIAM GUERRERO Ernie, who came to Saint Mary's in his sopho- more year. has compiled an admirable record in sports. He has earned membership in the Block S,M, by participating in football, baseball, and basketball. Ernie also has compiled the same record in student activities by being chief proc- tor and sergeant-at-arms of the senior class. MARY LOU HUTSON Mary Lou's sparkling blue eyes framed by smart harlequin glasses and soft cury hair were a familiar sight at Saint Mary':s Mary l.ou came from Stockton High in her junior year and since then she has had her share ot respon- sibility. She was in charge of the music for i'Bamboo and this year was Green and XVhiIe representative for the Freshmen and a member of the Publicity Committee. I , x Q
