Officers I DON MALONE The shield of the S.B.A. throws a guard over the fine traditions and the high standards for which St. Mary's High is noted. By giving suggestions and making plans for the social part of student life, the Council aims to promote school spirit and Catholic idealism. Following the traditions of the past, the 1949 S.B.A. sponsored by Sister M. Cecilia, stands for whole-hearted cooperation and loyalty to both faculty and student body. In the role of president school of the W.I.C.C. and by active participation in the Student Council Regional Meeting held at East High, October 7, the S.B.A. sought to promote better relations with the public high schools of the city. Social highlights of the year's activities include the Sadie Hawkins Dance and the Christmas Prom.
