The 19L8-A9 Irish quintet played a steady diet of thrillers all season long and their ll-10 record might easily have been improved if a few of the close ones had swung 'our wayn. Of the 21 contests in which the Hilltoppers participated 8 of them were decided by 3-point margins, or less.
