Miss Combre Girls' Health and Phys. Ed. After teaching for a year in St. Mary Grade School, Miss Combre joined the high school faculty and in this short time has established herself as a friend and advisor. Aside from her duties as girl's physical education and health instructor, she has taken over the responsibilities of G.A.A. advisor, showing further her appreciation of athletics. Her outside interests are many and varied. Basketball is a great favorite as any girl in her gym classes could tell you. She teaches a class of interpretive dance, enjoys ice skating, and the latest in modern jazz. Mr. Patrick Mannion Civics Commercial Law The newest addition to the St. Mary staff is Mr. Mannion. He handled the reins in Senior Problems quite capably and completed a successful fourth quarter with the commercial law class. A ruling hand in the peaceful domain of study hall was also a part of his daily duties. Mr. Mannion's favorite out- door sport just might be golf. We welcome an alumnus to the faculty and hope that his stay will be permanent. Mr. Klotz World History Studying about the Neanderthal man the Egyptians, or the battles of Napoleon is but a part of the World History course taught to the Sophomores this year by Mr Klotz another new faculty member Mr Klotz attended St Mary s for ten years, entered a prep school at Latrobe Pennsylvania, and spent his college years at Iohn Carroll University His extra curricular in terests include reading watching a good foot ball or basketball game or listening to record ings of classical music or marches
