In his quiet, unassuming way, Lee has gained the friendship and re¬ spect of all his classmates. His presence with us has been greatly valued by all. He has left us now to join Uncle Sam ' s boys in blue and we know that he will meet each obstacle with his customary smile. Let us introduce our Louise, with the blue eyes and blond hair. Her wit and humor stole their way and carved into our hearts a perpetual loving niche. Lou ' s willingness to cooperate and to help us out in any way possible has been brought to view time and time again. We feel assured that whatever her am¬ bition may be, she will reach her goal in a short time. Pauline Loretta Blanchard Course - Commercial Activities - Glee Club 3-4, Candy Sale 4, Year Book Staff 4,St. Thomas Aquinas Circle 2-3-4, Dance Committee 4, Dramatics Library Club 3-4. Pauline is pleasant and efficient. She is a dependable girl and has the knack of doing things well and promptly. She is always willing to lend a helping hand as has been proven by her capable work on the Blue Mantle. Don ' t let her red hair fool you for she is really Jolly and naive. Catherine Mary Bliss Course - Classical Activities - Glee Club 3-4, Radio Club 3. Quiet and reserved are two adjec¬ tives that help describe Catherine. Although little is known about her we feel that her heart is as large as she is tall. It could always be said that Katy had a good word for everybody and this is an asset deserving of much praise.
