Doc fMr. Janellej has all the answers on selllng ads. The second fund-raising effort of the year was the sale of raffle tickets. There were four prizes: the first prize was a week's trip to Hawaii, and the three others were a shopping spree, a color television, and a S100 savings bond. The sophomore class was the top in the school and Shelley Laws was the top seller. The school as a whole made S8018 or 66.896 of it quota. Incentives were certificates for albums and a dinner. 15

The fall Patron Drive was a big success with the school ex- ceeding its goal of 514,000 by 5260. The drive, which lasted two weeks, involved selling ads to various local business and also to individuals for the Yearbook, to show their support of the school and of a Catholic education. There were several incentives provided to encourage sales, such as lunch at McDonaId's and an afternoon of bowling. The school was rewarded with a free day for its efforts. After the totals were finalized the Seniors were on top with 1 1696. The top seller of the school was Kristine Scherer with 5515. mighty: Homeroom 110 won the Incentive of lunch at McDonald's. 14
