The Matmen then dropped a 33-21 decision to Fremont, followed by a 42-7 loss at the hands of Norwalk. The Panthers finally recorded a victory as they downed Tiffin 31- 21, in preparation for the SBC Tournament. The Saints only placed 5th, out of 7 schools, with Tim Finneran the only grappler to finish in first place. Mark Keech and Mike Trautman finished second, while lim Stookey and Ioe Dye placed third. The final two matches of the regular season were both successes, as the Panthers rolled over London 45-18, and then dumped Monroeville 34-20. Mark Keech, joe Dye, and john McNulty all resistered pins in the last match. The Panthers met stiff opposition in the sec- tionals, but did manage to place two wrestlers in the districts, as Tim Finneran grabbed sec- ond place, and Iohn McNulty finished fourth.
