FOREWORD We of the class of 1956 are about to take our places in the world. May this yearbook revive for us our warm and friendly days at Saint Mary's. May we look back and through this yearbook find the inspiration and hope that our Catholic education and teachers have instilled in us. Through their efforts we hope to take our rightful places in the world with a sense of honor and ethics acquired at Saint Mary's in our years here. To the many classes following us we leave a legacy of learning and laughter and a wish to be remembered. Many will be the changes in the faces of both the student body and faculty, but long may the spirit of Saint Mary's live. May we of the class of '56 repay our Alma Mater by allowing her to have the pride in us we have always had in her.
