Glee Club Withtitit a song no education is com- plete. Saint Mary's Glee Club shines through our school providing the necessary cultural aft to polish our studies. Every Wednesday afternoon, during last period, Mrs. Mary Starky, at the piano, provides every member of the Glee Club with expert musical direc- tion. At practice the auditorium echoed with the harmonious tunes to be sung at the Christmas Pageant. Our second semester, the Glee Club concentrated on the preparation for providing the musical portion of the pro- gram at the commencement exercise in june. MRS. STARKEY plays the piano, as the Glee Club begins their recital.

T603 Seton Forensic League CAROL TORIO gives her prepared speech in the Oratorical Declamation Debates. KATHLEEN GAVIN presents her poem, during the Poetry Reading Festival. if The Seton Forensic League, was organized in the name of Mother Seton, the foundress of the American Sisters of Charity. On October 25, 1955 St. Marys played host to about sixteen schools, who took part in the Oratorical Declamation Contest. One student from each school was represented and Carol Torio was Saint Marys representative. Dianne Digman, from St. Peters New Brunswick won first place. Kathleen Gavin and David Kinnear also represented Saint Marys in the Poetry Reading Festival and the Forum for the Seton League. This league offers to all students participating the knowledge in public speaking. That certainly has induring value. PRESENTING the different school's of the Sister's of Charity, who have participated in the Mother Seton League.
