Foreword In the past year, we of Saint Mary’s Hall have seen both revision and innovation in our lives here. New channels of interaction have resulted in mutual understanding and trust among students, faculty and administration. By daily effort in a common spirit, each individual who has earned new freedoms has also earned greater responsibilities. As we pursue simultaneously our own interests and the common good of our school world, we believe that we have acquired a deep and lasting appreciation of renewed unity, the theme of the 1973 La Reata. 5
