Dedication To Colonel john C. Kilhorn, the Senior Class gratefully dedicates the 1965 La Reata. Throughout his years here, Col. Kilhorn has constantly and generously given of his time and efforts. He has endeavored to encourage us along the path toward maturity, and his teaching has opened the doors to the exciting world of mathematics. His ever- present warm smile and enduring friendship are memories that we shall always treasure. Coll Ki1born's patience, understanding, and interest in our well-being have endeared him to us. He has always found the time to listen to our problems, offer his counsel, and inspire us to seek higher goals. Farewell to the Seniors The end of the school year is a time which always brings with it mixed emotions for us all, but it does so particularly for the seniors and for the faculty. For the seniors it marks the achievement of one of life's goals and the beginning of what is undoubtedly a larger life of greater freedom and responsibility. It also, inevitably, means the gradual dissolution of close ties of graduation a note of sadness. However, it is inevitable with it. We of the faculty who have been so closely associated others.
