Head nurse in the psycopathic ward in Receiving Hospital was Elma Ruth Dorgan. Marie Gudenau was the head doctor there. Doris Hiller wus chief dietitian there until she left to marry an explorer. Two of the women owned stores. Margaret Hamill owned a shoe store, and continually went around in bedroom slippers. Josephine Ryan was the proprietor of a chain of drug stores. Poetic justice, eh? Perhaps the one who gave the most enjoyment to her neighbors was Anne Vlasic. Her rendition of various songs made the people stand in the aisles.

I hope that you appreciate this nsneak previewn of coming events as told in a history book of 1959 and wil not let any creeping doubts come into your mind as to its authenticity.
