The First Season The , . , ung, small, timid? Not Mikehlosephg he was never a freshman, Anyway, this was the basic notion of the freshman year. We werent afraid of girls, and this showed by the success of the Ifrosh Mixer, where we danced to Beal I2 and Lfflft' Red Crmfelle. Big Brother Day was a smash, for we had lito. Michael Collins as our new principal. The 1982-85 season added to the faculty a Bro. Albert Villa- gomez and a Bro. Cecil-Charles Duncan. This Class of 1986, being ofa sound 150 students, proved very promis- ing. We were the 120th class to enroll. And promising we were. With Mr. Michael Walsh as coach, we Saint Mary's Cubs lost only two games during the football season. Being provoked bythe football team, SM Frosh basket- ball stormed through the CAL and tied the champion- ship. Athletic we were, but GQ, was first priority. Polo, Izod. Topsiders were the click and driving illegally was the privilege of one class member, Dave Brown. who casually rolled his Ford Mustang. And rolled he did, right into his sophomore year with his 110 peers. four seasons it was Yo er arhara better ltnovin as Loy B 1 t Marx s society y ut Dave Daniels won the I mi still hasn t Caught Dave Bro
