Fjr.st League Footba JJ HTHK football exhibited by the sterling teams in the first league is a good criterion by which to judge the success of the league itself. So spirited was the light and so evenly matched the teams, that is was necessary to decide, by a vote of the league governing committee, the championship team at the end of the season. The aggregations led by Will Potts, and Johnny Boyd ended the season in a deadlock, and it was only after a motion made bv Potts himself that the deciding vote was cast for Boyd’s eleven.
