During its forty years of existence it has passed through a development which today places it at the head of collegiate literary magazines throughout the country. I’nder the capable editorship of Kenton Kilmer. '30. the Dial has enjoyed eminent success, in upholding the traditional standard of the Dial's excellence, and in furthering literary talent among the student body. The high quality of the essays, poems, and stories which have appeared in the Dial during the last year has occasioned widespread favorable comment on the part of reviewers, a fact which reflects credit upon the editor and his talented staff.
