MEMORIES FATHER JOHN GARVIN Father John Garvin, after seven years of service at St. Mary's, was appointed pastor of St. Patrick's Church in Dickinson. During his years as superintendent here, Father John was vitally interested in the welfare of the school and the students. He will always be loved and admired by the present student body and all alumni of St. Mary's High School. His main concern was to further the development of the school seholastically, materially, and spiritually. Ile had the interest of each student at heart. The people of Bismarck honored him by a reception at S.M.C.Il.S. on August 28. MONSIGNOR ROBERT A. FEEHAN On March 23 Monsignor Feehan celebrated his twenty- fifth anniversary as pastor of St. Mary's Parish. The members of the parish presented him with a sparkling new Dodge as a token of their appreciation. Monsignor Feehan, as busy as he is, somehow finds time to see his high school students. It is not uncommon to see him visiting classes each week. He appears with a smile, ii word of inspiration, and often a song. Ever since he has been here, Monsignor has been deeply interested in the welfare of each and every student, Our beloved Monsignor Feehan will always be a welcome person at St. Mary's Central High. 4
