Piflkl' Ostffmdef and Senior prize winners from I-lomeroom 102 Forty dollar salesmen display prizes friends MAGAZINE DRIVE Radios, movie cameras, watches, and stuffed dogs all awaited the high salesmen in the Annual Magazine Drive held in September, 1958 under the guidance of Pinky Ostrander. Through the united efforts of the student body the school received a commission of Sl43l.68. John Stocker, Ron Kosson, and Ellen Stanton were first, second, and third high salesmen respectively. Homeroom 102, the smallest one in school, turned in the highest amount of money to win the first prize trophy. Another senior homeroom, 203, won second prize. Chairmen in charge at St.Mary's were Jim Moore and Betty Jane Dressler. Ii x 22 MOTHERS' HOLIDAY Sell your tickets and win a free day! For several weeks before the Mothers' Holiday Dinner, held on January 4, 1959, this cry whipped up students' enthusiasm and urged them to sell their tickets. Students from all the classes worked together to make it a success. Mary Kay Gallagher and Bemard Faber were Co-chairmen for the ticket sale drive and the dinner. The seniors were victorious in their efforts to win the free day of their choosing.
