Father Mullins, the guest speaker at the Graduation Exercises spoke of the most neglected vocation in the world, the vocation of the scholar. All men are made by nature desirous to know, God has made man a little less than angels, crowned him with glory and honor and placed him over the works of His Hand. Man should do his work perfectly and as beautifully as possible. Nothing is Unimportant. Sharon Diede ac- cepting her diploma from Bishop H. B. Hacker at Com- mencement Exercises. pn.ll1h'r HACCALAUREATE MASS was offered in the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit on Sunday, May IH, Father Spain opened his sermon with the words, Quo Vadis? Whither goest Thou '? He stressed that we all seek happiness because we are made to be content with God. Selfishness is a bin reaso11 for unhappiness. As Christian men and women we IUUSI go into the world unselfishly, looking for opportunities to serve others, meeting the challenge to make this a better world. Baccalaureate breakfast was at SMCHS following the Mass.
