Principal PRINCIPAL S MESSAGE St. Mary ' s Boys ' is reported to be a very praiseworthy seventeen class¬ room building, accommodating a large gymnasium, three laboratories, a shop, a cafeteria. That is the report but you and I, we who are on the in¬ side, know the real St. Mary ' s. St. Mary ' s Boys ' is school every day, in weather fair or foul. It is teach¬ ers and subjects, liked or disliked. It is the companionship of other guys , agreeing and dis-agreeing with them. It is football, basketball and track; sodality, debating, chess: all that begins once classes cease. St. Mary ' s is homework and review in spite of T. V. or friends who call out to claim time. Boys of St. Mary ' s live according to their vocations as students: stud¬ ying and recreating, cheering and groaning, winning and losing, complain¬ ing and yet persevering through the best years of their lives.
