'L F'C'R-E'W'C'lQ'D Since the doors swung open in the fall of 1905, the 1665 men and Women who have sailed on the St. Marys Catholic High School ship bear Witness to the influence that has molded them into respon- sible adults Which the sacrifices, love and services of five decades have made possible. Sacrifice it was that kept the ship sailing and nurtured the school during those early years - the sacrifices of Priests and Sisters who fought discouragement and despair - the sacrifices of parents Who Worked to give their children the complete education many of them had been unable to receive. Years of Work and service, too, have gone into the building of this ship. The able-bodied pilots of S. M. C. H. S., the Priests, Sisters, Lay teachers, and others have given a labor of immeasurable love, have helped foster this ideal ot Christian education and bring the school to its present high scholastic standing. But pervading it all is a spirit of love - a reflection of Divine love radiating the light of Divinity throughout the World, heralding the call to constantly higher and richer Catholic living and guiding mankind to the source ot light and love. This edition closes another voy- P9 Ab age, rich in memories which we ' 1 shall always cherish. We invite K you for a short sail on the sea of 4 some of the happiest memories of -sei, our lives.
