TheRight Reverend Monsignorlvlichael Francis Cassidy, of County Cavan, Ireland, became pastor of St. Patrick's, O'Neill, in July, 1886. Under his direction, the beautiful church, the pastor's residence, and St. Mary's Academy became gems of reality. After 47 years of generous and un- selfish service to St. Patrick's and St. Mary's, Monsignor gave up his noble soul to Cod on December 2, 1933. lgaafom .7Aroug 574, The Very Reverend Timothy O'Sulli- van, born and educated in County Kerry, Ireland, has come to St. Patrick's with a record of splendid service at Tilden and Jackson. He has alreadyendeared himself to his new parishioners, who hope to en- joy his priestly ministrations for many years to come. 4 QV' The Right Reverend Monsignor John G. McNamara, a native Nebraskan, came to O'Neill from Bloomfield, where he had built rectory, school, and church. I-Ie be- came pastor of St. Patrick's in March, 1934. First as Father Mac , and then as Monsignor, he devoted the remainingyears of his life to his parish and the school. ln his death on November Z, l949,St. Mary's lost a valuable and beloved friend.
