TEXAS Dear Graduates:- A sound mincl in a sound body, both consecrated for a holy purpose through Christian Baptism, fortified by the Sacraments, and regulated by the commandments of God, is the ideal of every true and worth-while educational system. lt is my privilege, as your pastor to offer you my sincere congratulations on your Commencement Day. From your teachers, the good Sisters of St. Mary's Academy you have received the training which enables you to take your position in the world with confidence. You have the knowledge and equipment to be exemplary Christians. You have been told howto be true to yourself. You should be able not only to think right, but also how to act right. Your trained conscience should be able to guide you through life's squalls. Be true to your God. All your dealings with yourself or with others, every- thing you do, fall under one or the other of God's Commandments. Make your decisions and test your actions by your love of God. lf you love Me, keep my Commandments . We are not all required to do extraordinary things, but we must all try to do all things well for His Sake. Your future employer or partner will want you to be women of Character. lf you are true to God and self you will be true to your fellow-man. Since you love him as your brother in Christ, you wish him well and seek to promote his welfare wisely in the realization that you have a duty to take him with you through a life well spent to the eternal mansions of the Father of us all.
