Junior and Senior students of St. Mary's Academy and Price college will remember for the rest of their lives the prom given by the Juniors for the Seniors Tuesday evening, May 13. Cathedral Hall, where the prom was held, looked like something from a book thanks to much work by Juniors of the two schools who began early in the year working and raising funds for the prom. The decorations defy description, but were done most skillfully with the aid of a decorator. Typical May colors ---- pink, pale green and white were used to form beautiful fluttery curtains at the windows, and decorated identical booths at either side of the floor-one for the Hugo Loewenstern band and one for the punch service. Vari-colored ballons decorated ceiling lights and floor baskets of spring flowers at vantage points thoughout the hall. The stage was really a picture, covered with artificial grass and bearing baskets of flowers, white wrought iron garden furniture and a matching arch, through which each girl and her escort were presented. As always at such an occasion a note of sadness was present, but the youngsters soon dispelled that with the magic of music and dancing. t' The Amarillo Times ? is-4 up
