SENIOR CLASS PROPHEC Y On a beautiful May afternoon, in the year 1958, we find the famous Powerless model BETTY HERMAN gracefully ascending the steps to our town's largest Lime and Cement Company. Suddenly she slips on a banana peel and slides, not too gracefully, down to the C'0ncrete below, in her moment of distress, who should appear but JUDY DELGADILLO faithful companion of her school days, now the famous tight-rope walker. Somewhat abashed, Betty finds herself gently helped into the spacious building, where to their surprise they come face to face with--the co- owner CELIA SAUNDERSQ After the howdies have been exchanged, the business Manager, JACKIE ROBERTS, appears announcing the completion of her new in- vention, THE ATOMIC SEEING EYE, now ready for use. Upon Judy's suggestion to ascertain what the other member of the class '48 are doing, she proudly and efficiently works the complicated machinery and 1o!!-- on the screen appears Sister David, formerly MARIE FUNK, the expert teacher of a bored Bookkeeping class. As Jackie presses the button we see Jeannine in an exclusive cafe -----F----- washing dishes, flt looks like she got her wish!!J But whom do we now see? Why, it's none other than JACKIE OAKLEY beautifully curling her little daughter's BLONDE hair. The next-one togreet us is NANCY, the charming, well-preserved matron' of the home for aged ladies. My! Dosn't CANA JO still look pretty! and look, Robert Mitchum is bestowing the Acadeny Award for her performance in THE LOVES OF LIZA. In that giant sky-scraper, in New York we spy GINGER artistically illustrating roBob --- MARY GRIFFlN'S latest comic strip. A determined push of the button discloses IDA speeding fas usual, in her newest Neusch Cab. Nervously fingering the script of the Opera Carmen in which she stars, KATIE is directing her to the Metropolitan Opera House. A very familiar scene is now thrown on the screen. Indeed, it's Cathedral Hall. And from the cheers, it is very evident. that the UNDEFEATED team of SAINT MARY'S has just won another game thanks to the efficiency of the now internationally known coach, MARION ENGELBRECHT. The next screen flash shows us the Boston Institute of Technology, where ROSE MARIE holds the office of ..... headhjanitor. We are out in the country now, where we see LELA MARIE checking eggs for market from her spacious chicken farm. Who would have thought it--Lela, playing nursemaid to cackling chickens! Now, there is little Betty Rose who has become an. ardent church-goer: her study of architecture has taken her to practically every church in the world. The scene is new focused on WICHITA, KANSAS. We peep in at a certain private studio to behold MARGIE busily drawing mustaches and sideburns on her latest portrait of Just Plain Sam, the People's Man. As this last scene fades, Betty, glancing at her watch, with a gasp of astonishement, announces that she is already late for her modeling appointment. After hasty good-byes, Judy and Betty reluctantly take leave of their old school mates, not, however, without the promise of another class meeting in the near future through the use of Jackie's MAGIC EYE.
