, ' ' ff . t t , , , CELIA SAUNDERS- Senior Class President, Sodality Treasurer, Co-Editor of Sunbeam, Senior Recital, School Favorite, Varsity, Choral Club, Bach Club. This little chick is very well known around old S. M. A. She needs no in- troduction to the students and very little can be added to the honor given her in being elected our school favorite. Her flashing smile, quick wit, and just plain ole bounce will be sorely missed here at the Alma Mater. She was responsible for the success of many projects and will be one of the greatest assets any progressive college could have. Our best wishes Celia, and don't forget us. .IACCUELINE ROBERTS- Senior Vice President, President of Choral Club, Sodality, Vice President of Athletic Association. This senior has been running Red Skelton a close race with off-the-record remarks for the past three and a half years. She's our home town comedienne and her dry wit has sent many a hearty roar up to the rafters of St. Mary's. She's clever, and talented. She tells everyone exactly what she thinks without a qualm. When she laughs it's low but full of meaning. She's wonderful and we hate to part with her- 4, VIRGINIA MCMINN- Senior Class Secreatary, Art Editor of Sunbeam, Choral Club, Sodality. Better known to us as Ginger -isvery much what her nickname implies, plenty spicy-especially in personality-capable of defending herself and others if the occasion arises. She prefers History to 'Math any day of the week and. thinks Betty Davis is wonderful. She is the artist of the Senior Class, and possesses a remarkable memory-particularly for license numbers. Here's luck to one of our most talented seniors. NANCY BROWDER- Senior Class Treasurer, Business Manager of Sunbeam, Winner of Radio Speech Contest, Choral Club, Sodality. Y Brown, eyed, quick tempered Nancy, lively and full of fun has been with us for 10 C groan I years. Fond of horses and cowboy boots she adds a truly Western atmosphere to our Senior Class. But Nancy is much more than this. Intelligent and aggressive, she is a true lover'of democracy as evidenced U by her winning essay in the Voice of Demorcracy contest here in the city. E Nancy is a devoted friend, a lover of books, dancing, and good shows. Her plans for the future include college I I.W.C. I where she intends to take up Iournalism. :Q say to you, Dear Nancy, we will not forget you and hope that you may ever hold? a.,nln.11e,fon.u.s. .in,vnu.r. heart of friends and memories- .rr - E After graduation and the sadness of farewells there is one thing we wish 'cog

Our Judy --pages could be written on her, none doing her justice. To sum up our Sodality Prefect is difficult. She is our most level-headed, and efficient young senior. She's ambitious and has the drive to fulfill her many future plans. She refuses to say anything about anyone if it isn't nice and true. She's our sweet Judy-our energetic and hard working Judy. We will never know another to compare with her winning personality, or her unselfishness. We just want you to remember one thing Judy-we're going to miss you. CANA JO WIL.l..BURN- Sunbeam Reporter, Senior Cheer Leader, Attendant to Price Foothall Qlll't'l'l, Choral Club, Sodality. This pert little cutie joined our class mid-way in our Junior year. From the moment of her entrance she was a coniplete success-just as she always is. Her disarniing smile and friendly brown eyes easily put roost self-conscious stranger at case. She's an interesting conversationalist and proves it without invitation-since she loves to talk. She's a true friend but is sonietimes guilty of forniing snap decisions which she never regrets. When proven wrong, she admits defeat rapidly but when she's right the-re's no two ways. We feel lucky in having known you, Cana, even for a short year and a half. 3 , . Q -.1 , L, t il if it 'til tl
