Sr Jeanne of the Rosary was class advisor Our elans of- ficers were: President, Cecils Germain) Vice President, Gerard Filion; Secretary Claire Lafontalne; Treasurer, Florence Filion. That year we were in charge of the annual Hallowe'en Party The following year there were 22 enrolled Sophomores with Sr. Jeanne of the Rosary as class advisor To our regret she was recalled to Colebrook in January, leaving the Sophs without a homeroom teacher. Our class officers were: President, Claire Lafontalne; Vice President, Gerard Filion; Secretary, Rita Oregoire; Treas- urer, Florence Filion The most festive affair on the agenda for the Sophomore year was the annual Christmas Party . That year some Sophs took part in the CCIL Play Contest They were Maurice Bedard, Henry Cooley, and Helen Hogue September '51 found 20 Juniors back to S.M.A. Sr. Robert was class advisor. It was hard to believe that our ideals and ambitions were becoming realities Our class officers were: President, Claire Lafontalne) Vioe President, Gerard Filion) Secretary, Geraldine Cayea; Treasurer, Florence Filion. Four Juniors, Pearl, Rita, Florence, sad Claire were Varsity Cheerleaders That same year Claire Lafontalne and Maurice Bedard represented S.M.A. in the annual CCIL Social Studies Contest which won for it the second-place title. Several Juniors took part in the Senior Play entitled, The Tower Room Mystery. During the oourse of the year we held cupcake sales, our traditional Junior Day, and a Junior Dance All these activis ties were to raise money for our much anticipated trip to H.I.C. and Washington, D.C. In the latter part of June we motored to Whlteface Mountain for our Junior v Trip So ended another successful year bringing us closer to our goal, graduation. •15-
