For many of you it is the completion of a journey which began many years ago at St. Mary’s Academy Elementary School. It is because of the tradition which exists at SMA that makes our school and your years here so special. Over the years you have prayed, w orked, studied, practiced, played and grown from a young child to a young adult. Hopefully, your years at SMA have adequately prepared you for the challenges that life presents. Because of the size of your class, I feel a very special affiliation with each and every one of you, and I hope that graduation will not be an end, but rather lead to a mature growth in our relationship.
