Growth, ideas, moves to new locations, new friends, jobs and occupations — these are all things that create a stimulating life of opportunities. As your Principal, you, the class of '85, will be my first graduating class, and I have gotten to know all of you over the course of the year. You can be sure that each of you have made a significant impact on my life. I hope that the same can be said of me by you, despite the short time that we have been together. I wish you all well in your endeavors, and may your future years be filled with every bless- ing and success, and always keep a warm spot in your heart for your dear St. Mary's. (35 Deborah S. Therefore, this farewell is for the friends who have been through thick and thin together. It is for the friends who have laughed with each other and argued with each other. Do we tell of her keen intelligence, her vibrant personality, her delightful sense of humor, her total dedication to her job? She possesses all of these qualities. Do we talk about her cheer- fulness, her patience, her generosity, her understanding, her gentleness, her love for people, her enthusiasm, her sense of justice, her zest for life? She has all of these characteristics. Or, do we say we love her, and that we ap- preciate her and we will never forget her. For we are all better people for knowing Miss Deborah Hall.
