' When the subject of dedication of the 1976 ECHO came up, only one name was uttered. Without hesita- tion this man’s name was unanimously agreed upon as the person to whom this yearbook would be dedicated. This is only one example of the respect and admira- tion this man has accrued. In his five years at SMA this man’s personal qualities have made a lasting impres- sion on all who he has come in contact with. His char- ity and guidance are unsurpassed. He is a tireless man who is always available to those who need him, whether it be for advice or counsel, or just someone to talk to and laugh with. His time, which appears to be infinite, is divided between his roles of teacher, priest, counselor, princi- pal, athletic director, and friend. All are carried out in an almost altruistic nature and manifest a man who deserves nothing less than to be held in our highest esteem. And now that we are moving away from his influ- ence, we regret that we have not given enough for all he has given to us. So, Father Michael McGuire, in an effort to show a fraction of our appreciation, we dedi- cate this yearbook to you.
