with his boss movie magnate ack Moynihan Then came jim Pelkey head coach of the Vassar volleyball team with Dick Philion assistant ping pong coach at Y M C A They rode with Wayne Rozell in his one half acre dude ranch station wagon We showed them in and then the phone rang it was oe Levack and Bob Rheinlander who own the Pizza Para dise in Albany They couldn t attend but asked if the class would come down to see them as their motto is Eat our spaget and youll have no regret So most of us will go there tomorrow After we came back from answering the phone a Buick taxi driven by ohnme LaFay approached On the slde was printed Johnnie s Hack Iump on the Back and who alighted but Eileen Peters who teaches Home Ec at Siena and Pat Webb Editor of Good Homewreckmg Maga zine They had also picked up Katherine Fratus and Mary Lou Mulcahy owners of Ye Olde Swappe for Books and Typewriters Mary Wynn arrived and said she had been terribly busy driving Mack trucks cross country carrying militarx troops Major General Bruce Bren Fashion Shop and Teresa Sullivan expert hairdresser came with Bob Fuller who operates a jeep service between South Glens Falls Teresa said that we were all going to receive free passes to the movies from Bob Breen theater chain owner to that new movie The Other Woman starring our own Brenda Brown Loretta Kelleher who left her yob in the Library of Congress to attend the reumon said that Pat Kelly called her and asked her to relay the news that she is in training for the National Speed Typist Championship Pat has the honor of being the three times winner Another literary member of our class is Pat Higgins who told us about the highly techmcal book she is now writing entitled How to Build a Bridge She was there talking with Betty Shepherd the diners propri etress and Rose Terlizzi who is President of Langworthy Inc puts out books of Correct Shortland written by Betty Bowen who had just bought a very nice car from Mary Root and Marcia Behan owners of a used car service on Villa Boulevard in Des Moines Ann Sassone a house wife in Florida flew up to be here for our reunion Bob Taft also flew from Santa Anita California where he is the millionaire owner of the wonder horse Coal Bin Pat Kaine came in late as she had to interview the Eastern States Tourney Teams She is now cub reporter for the Argyle Flash We gave her the names of all present as she wanted it for the paper and it will always be nice to have the printed proof that we had the reumon party we always wanted Because of the success of this one we hope there will be many more annually if possible fl9 . . , . 86LI 15 810,68 When our Sennor Class parted nn une of S1 It was a unanlmous dec1s1on that we meet ten years to our Graduatlon Day Now the years have passed and the day 1S near because many of the members of the class are scattered 1n all parts of the country the few of us left 1n Glens Falls find ourselves wlth the task of notlfymg them that we were to have a reunlon party at Betty Shepherd s Dlner on Morton Road Through the courtesy of Greta McCarty supervlsor of the entlre country s telephone system xt was made pOSS1blC to reach all bw telephone The first member to contact was fashlon deslgner Ellen Lyons at New York C1ty She promlsed to come as she was scheduled to attend the open 1ng of the Nlkl Salon ln Fort Edward one of a cham of ladres clothmg stores owned and operated by Marcla Irvmg We met Nora Sulllvan and Phyllss Campagnone on the street They operate a boomlng Professlonal Baby Slttmg SCFVICC They volunteered to help us After a few days we recenv ed word that all were commg except Dlck Martmdale and Jlm Counter who are ln practlce sess1ons w1th the Chxcago Rams and Peg Godsll professlonal planlst now on a concert tour of southern Army Camps The day finally arrxved and as we were on the committee we gathered much news Among the first arrlvals were Bob Grogan and Rocky De Marlno Bob IS star forward for that wonderful pro basketball team Rocky s Red Rockets captalned by the verv executxve Rocky De Rocky mentloned that on h1s way here he stopped at Carpy s Colossal Conga Colosseum Th1s1s the famous dance studxo of Chlcago and when he went 1n he found Joe Colllns and Ed Gllhgan workmg as head dance IDSIYUCIOFS Roseleen Perkett the famous speed stenographer told us she had just been accepted as prxvate secretary to James Campbell head of the Atomnc Research Department at Notre Dame Unn erslty Other members of our class are represented there Pat Movnlhan and acquellne LaFond teach Engllsh and hlstory for n1ght classes The next comers were of the mxhtary branch Enslgn ack Llnehan and Charlotte Krell of the Waves Also on leave were our three Army nurses Joan McDonald Gerry Harney and Helen Kennedy they had traveled all the way from Texas and whlle there had taken care of ane Metrvner first woman paratrooper who had been hospltallzed wlth a bad spraln ane brought her nurse Evelyn Mulcahy They also told us that Barb Damgers new book How to Annoy Frlends and Influence SUlC1dCS and Tom Lawler s novel How to Fall Asleep Anywhere had recened rare notlces from the journallst crxtlc Mary Curran We saw a 60 Cadxllac drlve up and It was Tommy O Brnen that real two gun cowboy star of M G M CMoyn1han s Gruesome Monologuesj Us - .
