,Q School days take on added importance as the girls advance through the first four years. Chal- lenging new fields are opened to the receptive minds of the youngsters. Subjects such as addition, long division, and spelling now are learned. The foun- dation of religion is taught as the HOur Father and NHail Maryl' are recited. God's innocent chil- dren are being led closer to Him. Above: Arithmetic is a game to these young mathematicians. Georgann seems particularly pleased for she has the correct answer to the example. Work hard, girls. Opposite: r-r-r for the letter R and the word is rabhit. Here is a familiar sound in the area of the first grade while these young students practice their phonetics.
