THE BLUE STAR St. Mary’s Academy Austin, Texas 1961 v 4l FOREWORD This book holds within its covers memories of one year in our lives at St. Mary's. For each of us this one year is a stone in the structure of a great bridge which is our life. We began to build this bridge the day we were born and now we push forward toward its completion and ultimate Goal. Through Our Lady's intercessory powers each weakness, each loose pebble, is strengthened and this prevents our bridge from crashing down to eternal destruc- tion. With this thought we pattern our lives and the theme of the 1961 BLUE STAR. 3 Walter Barnes Studio His Excellency LOUIS J.
