We went out of our division to take on De La Salle. The result, a 7-7 tie, came as a surprise to De La Salle, for our team was considered too light to play them. Our last league game was played on November 23, when we met Holy Rosary team, which was holding the second place in the division. The game was strenuous. Neither team was able to pass its opponents' '20-yard line and the game ended in a scoreless tie. The alumni, confident of victory and boasting of a heavier and older tcam, were conquered, 13-6. They left the field admitting that the young- sters could play football. ,. On Thanksgiving Day the final game was played on the home field with an old rival, St. Theresa's. St. Mary's, having gone through the season undefeated, did not wish to feel the sting of defeat so late in the season. This stimulated action so that, though lighter than our opponents, we ,' efeafted them, 6-0. 'f-if -' 4' , s ,' V.
