Preparing for a useful future. Will it fit? That's the question confronting the Clothing Class as they lay the pattern on the material. Seams - seams - seams! Beginners in sewing must learn to do them by hand. Juniors and Seniors are looking to the future when they learn the skills of first year Drafting.

i At the steps of St. Mary's. . . Co-curricular activities, which run the gamut from arduous athletics to ealous sales - constitute one of the hallmarks of student life at St. ry's. Junior and Senior Dances, Career Day, Homecoming festivities, e election of a King and Queen of Hearts, the Junior-Senior Prom - all f these are a part of the school life. They exemplify what is known as school spirit , but better still, participation in these activities fuses e student body into a close-knit network of friends and vanquishes the suol barriers existing between classes. Whether on the dance floor at St. Mary's Gym or at Lovett Hall, whethe lnging around a campfire or voting for a Queen, the students of St. ry's always employ teamwork and have a wonderful time doing it. Since these activities bring students together on a more informal, cial basis than that which normally exists in the classroom, they tend add still another facet to the individual's character, round him out as a cial being, inspire a sense of understanding, congeniality and loyalty ng the entire student body and, in so doing, prepare the way for tter citizens of tomorrow.
