if hen red leaves are falling. . . High school years have come to be considered the autumn of education and nsequently have become, to many, the most enioyable and worthwhile years of eir lives. The bells of St. Mary's have, in the course of this scholastic year, become ing symbols of progress and accomplishment, because this has been, indeed, a itful year. lt has witnessed a St. Mary's Senior capture the regional honors in eVoice of Democracy contest, it has seen the induction of new members into e National Honor Society, the equipping ofthe Vocational Guidance Room, and e establishment of the Alumnae Association. These, and many more milestones, ve been successfully passed through the underlying spirit of achievement ich has permeated our corridors. Although we have often hesitated to respond to the bells which have called us classes and to study, we can now look back with a touch of nostalgia and are nkful that we have put forth a bit of effort in the pursuit of practical knowledge
