Father Haney smiled as he presented Al O'Brien with his class ring. Tuesday, October 6, marked another first among the accomplishments of the Class of 1960. On that day, in St. Mary's first solemn ring ceremony, the Seniors received their class ringsl Father Haney blessed the rings and distribdted them to the Seniors. He was assisted by Junior President, James Blanchard. lt was a day that will be long remembered by the Class of '60, since it marked their fjrst official recognition as Seniors.
