BY Y OF DEDICATIO In retrospect this year of 1958-1959 has been one of the great happen- ings. It marked the Lourdes Year. It ,saw the death of our beloved pontiff, Pope Pius XII and the coronation of another Alter Christus, Pope John XXIII. This span of months also saw the demise of our respected Cardinal Samuel A. Stritch. To take his place, we gave up our own loved Archbishop Albert G. Meyer to lead the people of the Chicago Archdiocese. Recently we welcomed his successor, Archbishop William E. Cousins. And all this came to pass in the year wewere Seniors at St. Mary's. As loyal and faithful Catholics, we dedicate this memory book of our Senior year to those who now serve us in the name of Christ.
