I Z Reading and writing Spanish can prove to be two different things as you may well judge from the lesson going on here. SPEECH, would you believe it? These students are learning when and how to speak, as well as to be good listeners and critics. THIS IS THE WAY of the Sophomores and the Freshmen, Always there is Religion: then there may be English and the languages, mathematics and science, art, home economics, all des- tined to make us men and women of to- morrow! With the addition of new equipment, the girls are having a chance to indulge in the newer sports. Here a class of girls out for gym are using the new hockey club to play field hockey. Evidently good raw material for the Navy, this class of boys is practicing the age-old Tug-of- War and from the looks of things is enjoying it. After this we saw them, of all things, jumping rope - another old sport. Page Twenty-Eight
