The question - What is evil? Sounds easy, but try to give a thoughtful and soul-searching correct reply. This is all that was given as a test in Geometry was being written. Know all the answers? English 2 takes time to study the photographic side of literatureg it makes understanding and re- membering so much easier. General Business offers a chance to study and practice on the modern telephone uses as you sec this group enthusiastically doing. Latin II has many inviting passages to be culled and pondered, but vocabulary is still there, too, to test even the best of us. Biology - The study of living things has led these students to spend hours preparing exhibits for the Science Fair which they entered and participated in. Page Twenty-Sin:

Father Altenhofen discusses moral problems with a serious and attentive group of boys. A little bit of this, some more of that, and . , . well, ask the Chemistry class about the result. Junior boys show that American History is the story of a real people throughout its many growing pains and difficulties. This is the Wa f the Juniors Go To School Religion is more detailed - there is some interesting Church History to be learned, more English and, perhaps, other languages, higher mathematics, more science, American and world history, art, mechanical drawing, introduction to business studies, and if you want, a course in clothing. Now we realize a little better, what high school is leading us into, and we make plans and chart our studies so that we will be the best and most loyal examples ot' Christian living. Juniors and Seniors who want a good knowledge of human relations study the currents of World History with Father Schlenker. Not even the photographer could disturb these Junior girls intent on learning the art of shorthand. Page Twenty-Five

RELIGION, the prime subject for the Freshmen. ML V- This was a baseball game in Latin I vocabulary. We don't know who won this one, but . . . And before we bake a cake, we learn in Foods class how to read the recipe and follow it. I Z Reading and writing Spanish can prove to be two different things as you may well judge from the lesson going on here. SPEECH, would you believe it? These students are learning when and how to speak, as well as to be good listeners and critics. THIS IS THE WAY of the Sophomores and the Freshmen, Always there is Religion: then there may be English and the languages, mathematics and science, art, home economics, all des- tined to make us men and women of to- morrow! TODAY we are the learners and then so soon it will be TOMORROW, and we must be the doers, and the world expects so much of US. Page Twenty-Scucn
