1 RIGHT REVEREND MONSIGNOR JOHNJ HUMMEL The title alone suggests the man he s one characterized by saintly ways It has been our privilege to know him to ob serve him and above all to be fathered by him His profound devotion to our Patroness Mary his simple sweet stories about her have moved us beyond words Ot the many trials hardships and suffer ings he has endured to make Saint Marys what it is today ot his endless endeavors to we shall never know But we do know and will always remember his tatherly concern tor each and every one of us his beautiful and sincere love tor Mary the goodness that glows like a halo about him Although he has resigned the pastorship ot Saint Mary s he will never cease to be loved and reverenced by all who know him In our treasured memories ot school life he will hold first place he will be a constant reminder to us that saints are still blossoming in our times lt is our prayer that when we are called Home he will be beside Mother Mary to wel Come us i N- . keep his flock within Mary's mantle, perhaps.
