From our very first diys of school when We toddled up the steps on short chubby legs Father Hummel has taken a great deal of interest in e ich one of us He watched us develop from hashful blushing youngsters into ex perienced young men and vxomen No doubt we have added silver hairs to his illustrious head and vxrinkles to his kindly brow but we sincerely hope that the pleasures and affection We have shown him far outnumber the griefs and disappointments As we look back vve recill the numerous ways in yet he takes little eredit for 1ll that he has done He asks for no thanks or rewa d Instead with a knowing gleam in his vtise old eyes he vvill ask you to pray for the Poor Souls or say 1 Rosary in honor of the Blessed Virgin We Seniors shall nex er forget him We cannot thank him enough for all that he has done for us There is no earthly gift great enough to shovx our appreciation But vve shall beg God to repay him a hundred fold in this life and in eternal reeompense in the great beyond 1 1 , C 1 I 2 3 5 ' z . , 7 I .S 7 g Y . . . , .
