J: W N Activities We were victims of nervous excitement when Mr. Cura, our director, tried out our voices for Glee Club nearly four years ago. Most of us seniors have grown up with the Glee Club following a yearly schedule of Christmas and spring concerts, broadcasts, and numerous public appearances. Activities have always been considered a ioyous part of our high school days. At various times we ventured beyond the campus, our trip to New York is one never to be forgotten. There were all-day outings to Clementon and Olympia Lakes. During the Lenten season of our freshman year we saw the beautiful and impressive Passion Play in Union City. Our bowling sessions proved a variety of talent and a variety of scores among us, but one thing we had in common-our endurance was ever strong. Everyone looked forward to Christmas when the festive season is cele- brated with tree, gifts, and a play. The iunior ring ceremony, retreat, the dance and music recital, and our prom have been eagerly anticipated, en- ioyed and tucked away in our fond memories with breath-taking rapidity. To read a deeper lesson within this whirlwind of activity, we can rightly feel that we have been slowly absorbing a culture much to be desired in later life.
