CROSIER STAFF Once a month S.M.A.'ers eagerly await their issue of the CROSHYR. which presents an up-to-theeminute review of past events and a preview of things to come. Many hours are spent by staff members in gathering the news, composing the articles and preparing the page layouts. SODALITY Organized under Our Ladyls name, members of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary strive to cultivate in themselves a deep devotion and filial love for the Mother of God. As chaplain of the Sodality, Monsignor Goossens urged Sodalists to show their true devotion to Mary in a threefold manner-honor, prayer and imitation. On February 2 new members received their medals with the in- tention of fulfilling their roles as Apostles of Mary. Thelma Bishop explains the Y.C.S. program to prospective members. 'l' The main objective of the members of the Young Christian Student Movement is to take a progressive step toward helping themselves and other teenagers live a more Christlike life. The aim of Y. C. S. is to create in the high school student a respect for learn- ing that will blossom into enlightened Chris- tian leadership. The members study particular teenage problems, decide what action is tO be taken, and then devote all their energy toward effecting a change. Wfeekly meetings are conducted by Thelma Bishop, president, Mary Hermann, secretary, Barbara Hill, treas- urerg and Nancy McCracken, co-ordinator. Sister jean Gabriel as moderator suggests pro- jects and activities for both Y. C. S. and the Sodality.
