THIRD ORDER OF ST. FRANCIS The Third Order was founded by St. Francis and is a way for people living in the vvorld to come closer to God. Living in the spirit of St. Francis teaches Third Order members that real comes with living a life of moderation and striving to give good example. Last summer five Tertiaries attended the Third Order Youth Congress in Olean, New York. Sheila Shine. Cecilia Stevens and Suzette Glenn delivered speeches on the topic, XY'hat Youth Can Do To Sanctify the Sunday -for God, for the family, and in recreation. In November, 1958, Sister Emmanuel, Moderator of Third Order, notified the girls that their speeches had been published in the Franciscan Herald and Forum.
