A sharp pang in each heart, A tear on each cheek, A sad thought in each mind, They never would meet. The commencement was solemn The minutes too fast Just time for a prayer The school days are past. But here comes the future Each girl has her jobg Some single, some married Some, too, serving God. The time was at sunset The year was unknown One hundred twenty-six stars Were soon heading home.
