Dale Williams 7th man vaisity This year the St. Martin's Cross Country team brought back the Central League Championship to Marty's, after a two ear absence ln league competition the y . Ranger team won all their regular season meets. The depth and ability of this year's team is proven by the fact that they tallied the only recorded perfect score Q15 pointsl in Ranger history. At the Central League Meet, held at Dave Vernon lst man varsity voted Most Inspirational South Bend, the Ranger's outran all the competition to take first, with a score of 45 points to sec- ond place Toledo's 54. The Cross Country Varsity consisted of 2 seniors, 4 juniors, and 2 sophomores, making the Rangers a potential strong team next year. Finishing the season with a 4-4-1 record. Their record put them in a tie for third place with Tenino, in the East Central League. The squad was made up of ten seniors, seven juniors, and twelve sophomores. 28
