Halback. ln his third year as a first string man. high stepping Doe ended his football days at St. Martins Hi in a blaze of glory. Against Montesano. he dalvled the opposition by racing to two touchdowns within five minutes. A truly great football player. lirank is worth watching in years to come. XVHALEN, Tackle. Too many times opposing halfbacks found. to their dismay. that attempting to gain yardage through VVhalen's tackle spot was no way to win a game. This three year letterman could be relied on to hold up his side of the line against any opposition. TOM OLERADY. Tackle. A backheld man on last year's squad. Tom was Klil' shifted to the line and took to it likc,a duck takes to water. A senior. O'Grady was one of the mainstays ol the Ranger forward wall. Besides being outstanding offensively. Tom could be seen constantly breaking up one enemy thrust after another. l'H QOl.DENBllRGliR. lind. The only Ranger to play sixty minutes of every game. this versatile Olympia lad finished his second season of varsity ball for the Red and XX'hite without missing a play. Besides snaring many passes for sizeable gains. he made a strong anchor for the left side of the prepsters line. TIM SXK'l5l5Nl1Y. Halback. Although light in weight. Tim made tip what Bll.l he lacked in pounds with speed and determination. Hampered by an early season injury which kept him out of the lineup for the first lew games. he came back to hit his stride in mid season. and from then on he was a constant threat whenever he carried the ball. HAUSMANN. lind. Continuing his hne play of last year. Bill brought his High School football career to a glorious finish when he made two spectacular runs for pay dirt in the Bellarmine game. An expert pass catcher and a good broken field runner. Bill could be relied on at any time to spark the team on to greater things. CARI. STEBERS. Quarter. Calling signals is no soft job. but this lanky Rl. SIEQBLRF Q uarter lad made it appear easy as he guided the team through the tough spots. A triple threat back.
